Overview
Elara Dunlin’s parents move her from Maine to Texas when her father is offered a wonderful job. Elara starts her senior year at a brand new school, dealing with mean girls and a boy she can’t get off her mind. On top of that, a blue-eyed man seems to be stalking her. When the blue-eyed man finally catches her and tells her information about her past, Elara begins the journey of self-discovery.
Review
J.M Buckler, a self-published author, has a wonderful writing style. This trilogy is unlike anything I’ve read and the world Buckler builds is so detailed and unique. Her characters’ journey is deep and moving. I think these books are perfect for young adults. They discuss how to deal with trauma, change, and a multitude of different topics on growing up that are so important for young adults today.
