A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

Favorite Quote:

“Ove had never been asked how he lived before he met her. But if anyone had asked him, he would have answered that he didn’t.”

– Fredrik Backman, A Man Called Ove

Ove, a curmudgeon old man, lives a solitary life. One day his world turns upside down when a young couple, with two daughters, move in next door. They flatten his mailbox with a U-haul and so begins a hilarious, contemporary, and sad tale.

This book is humorous and a joy to read. A heartwarming tale, it had me laughing and crying. I love Fredrik Backman’s writing style. It’s a quick read and I would highly recommend it!
